Carole,

Edward Clay Boots was my great-grandfather. I believe his marriage to Lizzie Cliffie was his first, while my line of descent comes from his second marriage. I know very little about this first marriage. I do believe they had a son named James Boots and a daughter named Lizzie who died in infancy. I would appreciate exchanging information with you about this.
