I'm looking for ancestors and descendants of James W. Booth born about 1799 somewhere in TN. James married Jeanette aka Jane Watt in Tuscaloosa, AL in 1826. They had about 13 children in AL and MS before James died abt 1859 in MS (maybe Attala County, MS). Children names were Rebecca, Jane, William C, Esther, Margaret, Sarah, Joseph C, Tennessee, John, Helen Amanda, Basha M, Carolina, James H Boothe. Sons, William C and Joseph C entered the Civil War in MS but by 1863 -65 they and their Jefferson County, MS wives Elizabeth and Clara Osteen had moved to Catahoula Parish, LA settling near Harrisonburg. I have a family tree on these two brothers in LA. I would love to know my Booth(e) ancestors in TN and also my kinfolks from the other 11 siblings lineages that William and Jospeh left in MS.
