my grandfather arthur boothby was born on a spanish ship in new york harbor somewhere around 1860-1870. he was related to penelope boothby who was painted by sir joshua reynolds. I used to have a print of the picture in my room as a child. He had a brother john who was a prominent new york attorney living in new york. My gra dfather died around 1920 in indianapols, Ind. Sounds like this might be the family. I can find no info. marge ellicott
