In my early genealogy days, I photocopied an article from who knows where on Col. F. E. Boothby - he was the son of Levi T. Boothby. The article says Levi was b. 21 June 1818 in Livermore and that his wife was Sophia Packard (Brett). The IGI (not always reliable) says Levi was the son of Ichabod Boothby and Charlotte Knight. Ridlon's Saco Valley Settlements lists children of Levi. It also has Ichabod b. 1789 m. Charlotte Knight. Ichabod son of Nathaniel of Scarboro (IGI says he m. Susan Thompson) - Nathaniel son of Samuel, Samuel son of Henry. I grew up in Waterville, remember Boothby/Bartlett Ins. co - also, my grandmother was a Boothby of a different line. Hope this helps.
