Richard Duran, Thank you so very much for your kindness in replying to my query.I do believe there must be 2 Elizabeth Boothbys, I have information on the Elizbeth you are referring to, she married for the second time in 1726, and died about the middle of June 1775, her will was proved in court on 8 April 1776.My Elizabeth Boothby ( Boothbay) was born about 1712, was married to John Gooch 17 December 1734 and died 9 June 1778 at Wells, Maine. She and John Gooch had 10 children. ( source: " History of a Surname"; and a Manuscript of Rev. James Gooch VI.) If the Elizabeth you are referring was my Elizabeth, she would have been only 14 yrs old to be married for the second time in 1726 to John Webber having already been married to William Jepson or Gypson in Ireland some time before that --- I believe certainly we are talking about 2 different Elizabeths.I received some information from a gal by the name of "Trish" who has your Elizbeth Boothby in her line, and she states there was a Thomas Boothby, possibly a brother to Henry Boothby, as all both Boothby's andWilliam Jepson lived in Wells Maine at the same time.It is possible the Thomas is the father of Elizabeth Boothby who married John Gooch. This is what I am still trying to prove-- who her father is.Again, thank you for your reply.Sincerely, Jean Noble
