The Summer 2008 issue of ANTIQUES AND FINE ART magazine on p. 168 pictures a portrait of three-year-old Adelaide Endora Smith of Waterville, Me., in 1852. She married Frederick E. Booth in 1871 who became mayor of Portland, Me., in 1901, and in 1916, mayor of Waterville, Me. This fine portrait should be made known to the Smith & Booth families. I am scanning it in case any of the descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the family ought to have it--it is too good to be missed by the family. It may not have extensive genealogy value, but it certainly does have a whole lot of family and artistic value. My email address can be found by clicking on my underlined name above. Please respond by emailing me directly and not by posting a reply on this genforum site, which I might not see. If it were a portrait of a Pease family member, I'd certainly want someone to do the same for me. Bill Pease, Lancaster, PA Notify Administrator about this message?
