Some of these families later used the spelling Boos.
Henry & Elizabeth (Blackman) Boos moved to Johnson Co., IO shortly after 1850.
Joseph and Juliana (Boos) Selby moved to IO about 1852 and to St. Louis, MO during the Civil War. William H. & Elizabeth Boos died in Kingfisher Co, OK.
My line is (Mary) Elizabeth Boos Spangle, d/o Henry & Elizabeth (Blackman) Boos(e).
I am trying to determine(1) if Jacob, John and Henry were brothers (or related) (2) parents of Henry. There is a family tradition that Henry was born in Rockbridge Co, VA, but the 1850 census indicates his PoB as PA.
I have more information to share and would love to exchange information with anyone researching any of these families.
