Capt. Amos Boorn was b 25 Maar 1737 in Swansea MA. He was the son of William Bourne 1704-after1752 and Mary Sheffield. (Ancestral File) He m Louvisa Simmons 2 Dec 1764 IN Freetown, MA. Louvisa d in Richmond NH. I have Lydia's birth as 12 Feb 1773. Some of my information came from "History of the Town of Richmond" by William Bassett 1884. Amos was one of the first settlers in the Eas part of the town of Richmond, NH and was from Swansey, RI. He had been a sea Captain. Hon A. O. Bourn, Govenor of RI is from a branc of the same family.
Our line descends from Martha Louisa Bourne (Ansel, Nathaniel, William, And Amos).
