This was a PBS program just aired yesterday on the new book about Betsy Ross. The author, a Miss Miller, said the Expelling came automatically by Quakers going outside their religion to marry. The subject came up because it happened to Betsy Ross. If this was the case, then no paperwork would be needed for Sarah Boone. I do have some interested in this because a Claypol document exists saying a Boone family member was adopted by a Myers family. As You know, Betsy Ross's second husband was a Claypol. This makes me think in may ways that Betsy Ross as related to Chief John Ross who took over after Chief Hanging Maw's death. Betsy Roos's husband was wounded at the Battle of Brandywine and this is where my Myers family start out in the record. It seems Sgt Lawrence Everhard saved General Lafayette's life at the battle and Sgt Lawrence Everhard's cousin Catherine Everhard married Hunter John Myers connected to the Morgan family of General Daniel Morgan. General Daniel Morgan was said to be Daniel Boones uncle. The only thing that fits all this is that all the Todds have to be related although Expelled here and there.
