This is an exert from a document in my possession
"compiled by Uncle John Henton about the year 1904 at Washington, D.C.)

The William Henton's came from England to America early in the 17th century, and settled with the Squire Boone and the John Lincoln families as neighbors. These families lived together in Berks County, Pennyslvania. Later, they moved to virginia.

Our ancestor was George Henton, son of William Henton who settled in Berks County, Pennsylvania in 1717, later moving to Virginia. George's wife was Persis Boon, sister of Daniel Boone. Their children were: George, William, Mary, Thomas, John, Joseph, Robert, Catherine, Hannah, Alice and Ruth."

This is a direct quote from the document, with the exception of possible mistyped words, it is word for word.
