Actually this helps me a lot! I have been reading a very long biography of Daniel Boone and it has a genealogy of Daniel in the front. My ancestors, not Boones but Beards, helped found the town of Columbia, Adair Co KY in 1798-1802, and they are on this short list with Hiram and Mordecai in 1802. I have naturally been curious about these Boones relationship with Daniel's family. They would be first cousins, from what you say and the information on George Boone in the book. So thank you very much!
