after years of trying to link to browns from north carolina and virginia i decided to do a DNA test, first 24 then 36 alleles through family tree DNA,well i got results but not matched to my name BROWN,i matched several BOONS all of the same family grouping,i matched to thomas boon b.1760 halifax n.c.,edgefield s.c.,warren ga.,then died 1836 clark co.illinois,my line i know back to 1792 is james brown of johnston co.n c.,james family, richard brown who i believe is james father b.@1760 and a family of keens move @ 1818 from johnston co. n. c. to pulaski co.ga.later becoming irwin co.ga.,i am kit #84850 on the brown project of family tree,i am listed as john e brown with other browns who have not gotten a match to the brown surname, any discussion or input is appreciated.thanks john e brown
