Eli Boone is my great grandfather. He was born in Hopewell, Bedford County, PA to Jacob Snyder Boone and Margaret Warsing May 7, 1842. He died in Los Angeles, CA February 2, 1922. He was married to Elizabeth Ann Jenkins December 15, 1867 in Wayne County, Illinois. His sister Susan Boone married Alexander Anderson Campbell. Both Alexander and Eli were in the Civil War out of Illinois. I don't have the records in front of me, but you can find them online. I think it was Company I. I have Eli's pension papers that verify it.
