is there another book? this page comments on some indian fighting but does mention a chief by the name of 'ou-ta-ci-te' or 'judd's friend'. also a captain stuart, captain demere, an adamson, boggers, and wintle. then a bell went off when you mention 'wilcoxson' i start digging in my folders and low and behold.....wilcoxson and allied families by d. f. wulfeck 1958. my 4g-gf jacob had a son horatio short that married a sally wilcoxson d/o william and nancy. they are green or barren county people. the pages i have mention a couple of williams, georges, issacs, a william died nov 1828 in barren co., with his heirs also listing a masters, short, mann, tibbs, caldwell, wife catherine, and some odds and ends in missouri. it seems this family decends from william who decends from john. i shall slip back downtown tuesday, an excuse for lunch!, and poke around some more for you in the wilcoxson book and then i shall dig out the other laptop with the boone stuff in it and see if i have any more there. all good wishes till, john a. short Notify Administrator about this message?
