I have been researching Thorn/Lemon genealogy for some years now and much of the oral history has lead me to some factual information , so am hoping some one has more info in this area. I am hitting dead ends on the Lemon/ Coleman line, but remember some family stories connected with the Boone line.

Story goes that Daniel Thorn was named for Boone, a family friend- the dates would support it...

Here is how the Lemon's link in there...

Sarah Coleman married Timothy Colman 7 Jun 1801 in New Jersey- they migrated through Tennessee in that time period- where their Daughter Jane Lemon Coleman married Daniel Thorn ., who is my gg grandfather. Daniel evidently had the fiddlefoot and went wandering... or yondering , as grandpa woulld say-while Jane stayed home. If this sparks any memories or clues, I'd apprecaite your feedback.

Thanks,
Jeannie
