Cal, Thanks for your response. Sounds like this is not the Lucinda I'm looking for. My Moses MURPHREE (b. 1755 Orange Co., NC - d. 1846 Pendleton Dist., SC) married a Lucinda ? I was told that she was a BROWN, dau. of William BROWN but I haven't found any proof. Another researcher said they thought she was a BOON, another that she may be a PRICE??? Moses was an early settler in the Keowee area you described, thought I would see if anyone had a Lucinda BOON that fit. I guess I'm grasping for straws. Charles in Alpharetta.
