Posted this some 3 or 4 years ago, but thought it would be worth a try again:
Looking for first 2 marriages of an uncle, ROY D. BOONE, son of GUY T. BOONE and Myra Stackpole, born Feb 07 1910 in Maine and died theire in 1996. His father, Guy Boone, was born in New Brunswick.
(1) Roy was married to Marguerite Truman, between 1927 and 1930, possibly in Maine. A decree of divorce was issued 12/22/30 for that marriage. Were there any children?
(2) to Ada ??? , married in Denver CO, between 1931 and 1936. Have news clippings of "Suicidal Leap from Vehicle by MRS. ADA BOONE" in Portland, ME in Sept. 1936. Article mentions they were married in Denver... possibly on or near a military base, and quite likey NOT in church. Uncle Roy was a career army man
(3) I have all the info on his 3rd marriage to Idola Gracie Gregoire, my dad’s twin sister.
Any other info regarding him, his parents or the existence of siblings will be appreciated.
