DAVIS’ OF BOONE, HAYS, VANBIBBER, ESTILL FAMILIES

Eventually every Davis has a dead end of family information that does not go past them or maybe their parents.

From the information I have the first 2 sons of Daniel and Rebecca Boone were born in Davis county North Carolina.

Their daughter Susanna Boone and her husband William Hays had 2 daughters that married Davis men.
Jemima Hays b. 1728 married James Davis
Mahala Hays b. 1792 married Jonathan Davis ( son of Jonathan Davis sr. and Elizabeth Bowen)
Both married either in Kentucky or Missouri

Isaac Van Bibber sr. (b. 1724)married Sarah Davis (b. 1729/1730) either in Maryland or Pennsylvania.

Isaac Van Bibber Jr. married Susanna Boone and William Hays’ other daughter Elizabeth Hays.
Their daughter Elgiva Van Bibber b . 1806 MO married (Kentucky ) Isaac Davis Jr. son of Isaac Davis Sr. and Sarah Clark.
Another daughter
Matilda Van Bibber married James Estill
3 of their children married Davis’ as well
Tantha Estill b. 1826 MO married ( Missouri) Daniel Boone Davis
Benjamin Estill b. 1844 MO married Delilah Davis and Alice Bell Davis
Sarah N. Estill b.1847 MO married Joe Davis b. MO

I am wondering if all these dead ends happened to be related some how. That the missing Davis’ are the same missing Davis’

I am not searching for corrections to dates and states.

However, what would be great and maybe impossible would be if anyone would have any information on

the D A V I S ‘.

Thank you lynn baker
