My great grandmother was Marion Boone. She was born of 4-March 1857 in Illinois. She married Arthur Grenier (marriage date unknown). She lived in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois until the death of her husband in 1902. She died a year later in Chicago in 1903.

The city and county of her birth are unknown, but there is a slim possibilty that it was central Illinois - based on an comment by an elderly relative who wasn't even alive at the time of her death.

I do not know the names of her parents or any siblings. The 1900 census says that her parents were from England and Scotland.

Her death certificate indicates she was born in Paris, France (maybe that was Paris, Illinois?) -- but the only known survivor would have been her teenage son Arthur.

I don't know if this gives you enough info to identify her lineage, but I hope so.
