David, thank you so much for your reply. I guess what I need now is someone who has a list of their children and who they married to verify it. I descend from their? daughter Elizabeth who married Thomas Lewellyn Jr. Their daughter Sarah married Noah Vernon. These are all Quakers.
Do you know what the speculation is about Israel Boone's wife? I looked at a website that said he married Mary Scrogin Wharten on Dec. 31, 1747. So, I went to Ancestry.com to see what I could find and saw a couple of posts, one of which said that Mary scrogin was born 1745 in MD. She was the daughter of Joseph Scrogin and Sarah Ann Caldwell. She married Capt. Revel Wharton in 1763 in MD. Her 2nd marriage was to William F. (George?) Boone about 1790 in Redstone, PA. Doesn't seem that there would be 2 Mary Scrogin Wharten's who married a Boone. What are your thoughts?
