Hello Jo Ann;
I have some information on D. G. Boone, his ancestry and descendents. D. G. Boone was my G.G. Grandfather on my mother's side. This line connects to the family of Daniel Boone, but are not direct descendents of him. They are, however, descendents of George Boone.
I am greatly interested in what information you may have on David B. Parsons, the father of Malissa Parsons. I found Malissa, age 11, listed in the 1850 Census of neighboring Wirt county, living with a Nelson family. Presumably her mother remarried Mr. Nelson after David B. Parsons died. Do you have any information on the death of David B. Parsons, or his parents? The Parsons family has a long and lively history in the Jackson/Roane county area of W.Va.
