I have a Fred Boone and a Fred Boone, Jr. in my family. Fred Boone died in 1950 in OK. I don't know anything about Fred, Jr. except he married Mary Evelyn ________. Since he is from Gibson or Madison Counties in TN, he could have worked at Oak Ridge. I remember a cousin of mine, Ida Faye Boone, went from Jackson, TN to work in Knoxville or Oak Ridge in the late 40s or 50s. Her father is Clyde F. Boone. I have a lot of information on the Boones in Gibson and Madison Counties. E-mail me if you think I can help you.
