Like Christine, I see no Lute, (Luther, or Luke, which is similar), from my George's down. I am a direct descendant of Daniel Boone who is my ggg grandfather. I find no direct descendants with that name either. I plan to go to the Nathan Boone Rendezvous in Missouri Sept 21 and will ask around while I am there. Nathan was Daniel's youngest child. His daughter married Alfred Hosman, my grandfather's dad.
