All my life I have been told I am a direct decendant of Daniel Boone. I have a family genealogy done by some relative unknown to me that goes back to James Nelson Mezick (1832 - 1867?) married to Susan Sharp (1839 - March 21, 1919). They had 2 children: Alice Leonore and William Boone. This is the closest I have come to finding my link to Daniel Boone. I have searched, but cannot find anything linking from there to any desendant of Danile Boone. If you have any information that completes, or even refutes such a link, I would be very grateful.
