I tried to contact you by e-mail but it came back as invalid address. I have always read that no one, after exhaustive research, knows what Israel's wife's name was. He did marry "Out" of the church, not an Indian, but just out of the church which was grounds for excommunication among the Quakers. However, I did see an entry on Ancestry.com where a man states that Israel Boone married Mary Scrogin Wharton. I wonder if he did not confuse one of the other Israel Boones with Squire Boone's son. Has anyone heard of this woman's name before. If this is correct information, there are many Boone researchers that would be surprised. The man does not leave his name and his e-mail address is invalid. Does anyone have any information about this woman. Thanks, Sandra Weilacher
