Perhaps this is what you are looking for.
Daniel Boone's brother George married Nancy Linville. They had a son William Boone who married Nancy Grubbs. They had a daughter, Cassandra who married William (Kit) Carson. Daniel Boone was Cassandra's great uncle with no blood relationship to Kit Carson, at least not through this line.
