Sarah Boone, child of Squire & Sarah Morgan Boone, was born 7 Jun 1724 near Chalfont, in Bucks Co., PA. She married in Exeter, PA 29 May 1742 to a non-Quaker, John Wilcoxson who was born 6 Sep 1720 in Berks Co., PA. Her father was reprimanded by his church. The Boone families then moved to NC. John & Sarah lived in Coolumee, Davie Co. When her brother, Daniel Boone and others, went to KY, Sarah & family went also.
Sarah's husband, John, was killed by an Indian near Lexington, KY near Bryan's Station 3 Feb 1782. Sarah, called Sally, died at the home of her grandson, Jesse Wilcoxson. She was age 91 years. Some people say she died at the home of her daughter, Elizabeth.???
