Hello Diane: I noticed your message and think maybe your Boones and mine may be related, you stated that Alvin later located in Missouri. Curious where in Missouri, as my Boone's also located there after being in Tennesse and N. Carolina, and some married people from indiana and Illinois so could have been there for a time also. I am back to abt. 1811 for birth years, on my Calvin Watson Boone which census and death records show he was born then in NC. I have that your Alvin was the son of Eli, son of Jacob Snyder Boone, both b. in Pennsylvania. That is the only thing that throws me off on yours and mine being related. Jacob's birth was very close to my Calvin's and one in Pa. the other in NC. However if they were brothers it could mean that the parents were located in Pa. had Jacob and later moved on down and to NC and had Calvin. Do you have any siblings for Jacob at all, I have none for Calvin yet.
