I am related to the Boone's of Maryland,too!
Dennis BOONE and Ann Sophia WALTZ were married 7 Apr 1842 in Frederick, MD. They had 8 children:
John D., Gusta Ann, Emelia, Ellen S.,
Francis E., Marshall D., James M. and Harry Hanson.
Dennis was born in 1822 in Frederick Co., MD.
Information that I received from another Boone researcher says that Dennis' father was John BOON. He married Rebecca COLLINS. They had 7 children as follows:
Ann, Dennis, Seney Elizabeth, John, Ephraim, Edward and Henry.
