searching for descendants of John Boon/Boone in Barren co KY 1800-1810... married Anna Grider Mitchell , a widow , in Sept 1817 in Warren co KY..according to Goodspeed together they raised seventeen children..assuming both had children before marriage and probably had some together. ...Family stories and a letter written by a grandson of his in 1929 said his grandfather was John Boon born NC, his grandmother Henrietta Stewart/Stuart of
Scotland..My third greatgrandfather was Richmond Pearson Boone born 1803 Barren co KY died 1887 Kendall co TX..buried Bell co TX..
it is said Richmond was married 1 st to Jane Riley "around Maysville where his Aunt Hannah lived" also that Richmond had a sister Kizeah...In Warren co there was a Kizeah Boon who married 1st William Smith who died in Phillips co AR....2 nd married a Rev Franceway...3 rd married Jesse Bunch..went to live in TN..If anyone has any clues, knowledge or suggestions , please contact me ..I have searched for twenty one years to prove my link to this John Boon..Thanks, Pat
