Several years ago I read an article about a cabin that was believed to have been built by Daniel Boone. It was discovered when the siding was removed from the structure perpatory to tearing it down to make way for a highway. Daniel Boone's name and a date was carved on the outer front wall. I do not recall where it was but the article mentioned that Daniel was known to be in the area at that time. Does anyone know if this was proven authentic?
