Squire's Grave in NC

I saw somewhere the location of Squire and Sarah Morgan Boone's graves. It said that a cage had been put around the markers to dissuade souvenir hunters. Does anyone know where in North Carolina that is? I neglected to write it down.
Also, can anyone pinpoint the area that the Boone's settled in North Carolina, in present day terms? Rowan County was SO large back then that it encompassed nearly the whole western section of the state.
We are tentatively planning a trip to NC, and I would greatly appreciate anyone that could help me out with this info.
