I'm looking for my Boone connection. Supposedly, per my grandmother, her fathers mother was Malinda Caroline Boone. Her father was George Washington Boone. He was a postmaster in in Forsyth Co GA. His wifes name was Harriet. Their children were Mary M, Ruth A, Malinda C, Ratliff D, George H. This info was obtained from the 1860 census. This line supposedly comes from a first cousin of Daniel Boones Grand father , George Boone III. This would mean, a son of George Boone II's son.( Not George III' line.). The two other sons of George II were Henry and John. Henry never married, but John may have married an Elizabeth. His dates were B 4-20-1673, D 4-1693 or 95. From the Boone Geoneology by James Boone 3-21-1788. He may have had children. This is the line I'm trying to find, as it is the only one that fits the description by my GM. Not much out there however. It seems that John was buried in Devonshire Eng, so perhaps a child emmigrated later. We have no records, so I could be looking down the wrong branch.
