The Wainscotts traveled west with the Boones to Kentucky from North Carolina approx. 1730. I have just been following the Wainscotts emigration across the country, as I was raised in Boonville Missouri. It is a small town in an area settled by the daughter of Daniel Boone. There is an excellent geneaology page on the web for the Wainscotts, that talk about the Boones.
