Searching for parents of James L., Joseph J.,
and Lena Jane Boone. They were all born in
North Carolina in 1871, 1872 and later. Somehow they ended up in Kentucky being raised by an uncle.Oral history states, he
was very mean and the boys ran away when they were in their teens and left Lena in Kentucky.Undocumented family record lists
James L. Boone and Sarah Lewsaha(sp) as parents,both born in NC. Joseph ended up in Lowndes County,Ga and James first went to Ga then to Florida. No idea what happened to Lena. Need help!! BWC 5/26/98
