Pat, I've just started my search on this area and have been reading your posts on the matter. I, too am a decendant of Jonathan and Mary (Carter) Boone. It goes as follows:
John Boone-Henrietta(?) Carter
Richmond Pearson Boone-Millie Brown
Daniel Green Boone- Darthula Clements
George Ottoman Boone-Jonnie Caraway
William Earl Boone-Bernice Marie Fatheree (my grandparents)
I don't have any "proofs", yet, but I am in the process of gaining some...from the ground up so to speak.
It seems as though this Boone line has been documented pretty well until we get to Jonathan and then it all goes to pot. I know there have been some folks in my close family that have been researching this...doing the "pilgrimage" thing..been to England to see graves and records, etc. Unfortunately, the "major" one is dead, now and I'm in the process of trying to track down all his materials to possibly get some copies and our pictures back. I'll let you know what I find out.
