James Boon of Franklin County NC 1800

Has anyone looked at James Boon of Franklin County NC in 1800. I think he might be my James who in 1806 is paying taxes in Jackson County GA with son Needham Boon. He is missing in 1810, but 1820 Widow Boon is living next door to Needham Boon in Ouachita Parish LA. The ages are right for all. I think some of this same family was in Duck Creek area of Tennessee in early 1800. I think, in fact, that they settled Red River County with Wavell Colony about 1826.This group -Willis W. Boon- came with Tennesseeans to this area. Thoughts ,anyone?
