James BOON & Eliza SCOTT, PA

I am at a complete loss. I have a bio from Floyd's History of Northumberland County, PA, that states that Eliza SCOTT m. James BOON. No DOBs, marriage or death, and no information regarding children. I have made several attempts to find descendants without any success. The general locations of my Scott family have been in the Paxtang area, which apparently jockeyed back and forth from county to nearby county (Lancaster, Lycoming, Dauphin, etc). From Paxtang, most siblings pioneered Jefferson County and a few moved on to OH. There was one sibling, Margaret Scott, who m. Alexander Guffy, that stayed in Northumberland.

Does any of this sound familiar? Could they have died young, without children, thus ending the painful desk-lump on my forehead? If anyone could assist me, I would be grateful and willing to divulge the sparse information that I have in return.
