Does anyone know of any type of connection between the Boon families of NC,miss. Ga. or La. And The Champion families of those same places? I'm trying to get a link to my once enslaved ggggrandfather possibly from Louisiana sold by a James Boon in La. My ggggrandfather's name was Henry Champion(or Champyon) Any help would be appreciated.
