glad to see another Boome researcher... a rare breed.
So far there only seems to be two lines of British Boomes: I have only seen your line go back as far as Robert Boome (1802-1882) & Ruth Stovell (1804-1881) m Friern Barnet, Middx 30 Nov 1822. They had 9 children who spread out to Middx & Lambeth.

There is another line that is very well researched that goes back to Robert b.~1733 in Hertfordshire (Saint Albans, Colney, Shenley). His descendants moved through North & East London, Kent, Gloucs, Birmingam, Canada & S. Africa. One of my wife's relatives was able to piece together an extensive tree that I have expanded.

I've collected a whole range of snippets about both lines in my research. Almost/every Boome I've seen in England between 1800-1914 seems to fit into either of those two lines.

Drop me a mail and we'll compare notes. It would be interesting if the two trees do meet somewhere.
