I am looking for any information on Geo (George????)Bookman (b: circa 1820 in Germany)who married Elizabeth (Eliza) Bartels (b: circa 1822 in NY) in New York.
They had at least 2 children,
Louisa (b: 02 June 1846 in NY) who married David Harkness on 6 Sept 1861 in Butler Co, IA (buried in the Waterman Cemetary, Sutherland, O'Brien Co, IA)
Ann Elizabeth (Aneliza) (b: 27 May 1857 Stillwater, Saratoga Co, NY who married George W Nelson 16 Mar 1873 in Sutherland, O'Brien Co, IA d: 27 Feb 1942 Sutherland, IA)
Geo and Elizabeth moved with their daughter Louisa's family to O'Brien Co, IA in 1870 and apparently, Aneliza was with them at that time.
I am looking for any background on either Geo or Elizabeth (Bartels) Bookman.
