Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Gloria:

The Civil War Pension Records, which can be ordered from the National Archives has the following:

Michael Donlan ; Service M 2 Mo. Cav. H & A 10 Mo. Cav.

Widow Winifred, filed for pension May 4 1892 from NY,
Application # 512 141 , Certificate # 465 920

There is usually more information on a widows Application. Genealogy wise. I find if you order the whole file it usually is worth it, for they send everthing. Cost was the last I ordered $37.00.
