18th Century Irish Booker Brothers
I have learned that in the early 18th century, the Booker brothers made extremely fine looking glasses at their workshop in Parliament Street, Dublin, Ireland. These mirrors are now considered museum pieces, and have been sold for over 200,000 pounds according to an online article about Irish arts and crafts. I recall seeing photographs of some of these rococo, gold-leaved framed mirrors in(I believe) a "Colonial Homes" magazine a number of years ago, but neither of these sources had any more information about the Booker brothers.
I descend from the Edward/Richard Booker line of England/ Virginia. Does anyone have any additional information concerning these Irish Booker brothers and/or their work?I do not know how many brothers there were nor their first names...
