Dear Eric: Thanks for posting a response to my query. However, I think there is something askew in the Book story. My ggg grandfather Jacob Teeter, son of Solomon & Charity, was born in 1807. Charity would have been 12 at this time, which I think makes it unlikely for her to be his mother. Perhaps an older sister? Also, an expert on the Teeter family informs me that she has found Charity Book Teeter still living, in her 80's, on the 1871 Ontario census. This is puzzling.
