Am trying to assemble information about Lyon Township, Oakland County, Michigan Civil War Soldiers. This is all I know about Moses Bonney:

Bonney, Moses of Lyon, Mich., c.1844 born; Aug. 19, 1862 enlisted at Armada, Mich. as pvt., Co. E, 5th Mich. Cavalry Rgt. July 4, 1863 missing at Gettysburg, Pa. Aug. 11, 1863 returned; June 23, 1865 mustered out at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas; Moses and widow Jenna or Jonna A. Bonney applied for pensions while living in Michigan (dates difficult to read)

Moses died May 30, 1910 and is buried in the Veteran's Cemetery in Grand Rapids, MI.
