William Bonney worked on ancestors ranch-N.Mexico

All:

I know that William H. Bonney worked on Patrick Coleman's ranch or Patrick Coleman knew Billy as he moved about in New Mexico. This story was told to me by my great-aunt.

This small ranch would have been in Radium Springs, NM. Patrick Coleman was the grandfather of Petra Coleman, my great-aunt, married to John Widner-my great uncle.

Does anyone have any history on William's travels or employment? I know that's quite a request, but I would be willing to purchase books on the subject of ranches or land grants in Dona Ana county where Radium Springs is located if anyone could suggest some good ones. Perhaps the Land Grants could help me, but where do I find them?
