I am hoping to determine where the marriage of Perez Bonney and Ruth Snow took place (in 1739). In Barbour's Collection of Connecticut Vital Records for Goshen, there is an entry for Perez Bonney of Pembroke and Ruth Snow being married on April 20, 1739 by the Reverend Daniel Perkins. This record is supposedly to be found in Goshen Vital Records, Volume 1, Page 242. Immediately preceding this entry are entries for the births of their children (all but Titus). Since they were all entered on the same page it leads me to believe that they were probably entered after-the-fact. Previous postings have listed the marriage of Perez Bonney and Ruth Snow as having occured in Massachusetts. I guess this is possible since the Goshen entries don't necessarily contradict this. Does anyone have or know of any source which might corrobarate their marriage having occured in MA? What I'm seeing so far seems to point to their nuptials being performed in Goshen, Litchfield County, CT. Any information would be appreciated. Bob Garrigus rgarrigus@hotmail.com rgarrigus@aol.com
