I've discovered Benjamin's children were for sure, Isaac H. d. 1930 MI. Elizabeth J. m. 1891 Ellensburg, WA to an Alfred Potter. Ella May died in infancy, MN and Lillie May Bonnell Estes. Quite possible that Benjamin had a brother, James b. 1837. The two of them found living in Blooming Grove, PA in 1860 with an Elizabeth and Henry Brown.Perhaps their mother, remarried? There is a Benjamin C. Bonnell (older) in Elizabeth NJ between 1809 and 1849. He was a hatter and is buried in the 1st Presbyterian Church graveyard. It is possible that he is Ben jr's father. Would like to find out if Ben Sr. is son of Benjamin and Hannah Golden Bonnell.
