Can you provide any info on Samuel Bonnell and his family..
I am trying to document a Joseph Bonnell of Philadelpia.
He graduated from West Point in 1825 and died in Philadelphia in 1840. He was commissioned Bvt 2nd LT, 5th Infanty, and later promoted to Capt of the 8th Infanty in 1836. He died Sep. 27 1840.
Letters he wrote to West Point for admissions, say he was born Aug 4, 1802 and was the youngest of 4 children. His father died when he was three and mother died when he was 13.
Can you tell if the bible you have if of this family?? Would any info as to who his mother was??
