Dear Beth,
My hearts racing, but I'll be cautious.
To clarify, I'm reasonably certain that:
Thomas had at least a sister Philindia Lee Bonnell & brother Perry Lee per family histories & Bibles down both sides;Joseph & Andrew are sometimes mentioned.
Thomas Lee married Nancy Throop per Throop Tree & family history.
Thomas Lee had children Benjamin, William (married Mary (Coma)), Edna (married Fridman) & John (died diphtheria @ 14yo) per oral history.
Thomas & family moved to Mackey Hill, LeBoeuf, in 1863.
Benjamin had one son born Thomas Edward Lee but changed to Edward Thomas Lee (Eddie hated name Thomas).
Eddie had one son Maurice Lee & they recorded the oral history @ 1966, some details of the stories may be crossed.
We believe that Joseph Lee & Betsy buried on Gospel Hill are the progenitors, but have had great difficulty figuring out where they are from.
Where could we find the Dewey family ancestry/vital information about Elizabeth Dewey (& presumably Joseph Lee) including where they came from. Also, my map shows an I-90 exit 32 onto rte 430 near Behrend College/Gospel Hill Cemetery, is this where Tuttle's Corner is?
Thanks so much for your help!Ask if you need any other info.
Eric
